The Experiences of Loveday Brooke, Lady Detective (London: Hutchinson, 1894)

The Experiences of Loveday Brooke, Lady Detective (London: Hutchinson, 1894)

I love this cover for the 1894 first book edition of The Experiences of LOveday Brooke, Lady Detective. In a collection that is so much about female professionalism it is so fitting that the cover shows Loveday Brooke’s business card.
